The cricket club is over 100 years old - it was playing matches in the 1870s - and the cricket field is the same place today. Most of the matches in the early days were between local teams within the area, many of the mills had their own teams and played each other, the competition was fierce crickettoday.jpg (10981 bytes)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Addingham cricket field as it is today. The Cricket Club play teams from all over West Yorkshire and is in the Wharfedale league. It is well supported in the village by the people and local business's
